Location: Corporate Office - Richmond, VA

Department: Volume & Truckload Services

Job Summary
  • Accurately rate freight bills by verifying quote information & apply any assessorial charges for the volume & truckload department with a pre-determined deadline
  • Run reports to audit daily bills in order to find & correct pre-invoiced errors
  • Monitor open accounts receivables & take necessary action on delinquent accounts
  • Settle customer disputes
  • Prepare monthly progress reports
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; some college desired
  • Billing/rating or quoting in a transportation environment desired
  • Volume & truckload experience extremely valuable
  • Heavy usage of AS400, Excel & Access
  • Must be proficient in numbers & auditing
  • Computer skills as an end user are essential
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Demonstrate initiative & a high tolerance for stress
  • Must be self directed with a high level of attention to detail
  • HOURS ARE 6:00 AM – 3:OO PM (Monday-Friday) IN ORDER TO MEET BILLING CUT OFF DEADLINES
