Location: Corporate Office - Richmond, VA

Department: Operations

• Ensure OS&D and Customer Care personnel follow Estes’ policies and procedures.
• Train OS&D and Customer Care personnel, when Compliance and Field Support Regional Managers are not available.
• Assist terminals in locating freight for high value shortages.
• Hold telephone conferences with terminals to advise new procedures/ products. Discuss areas that need improvement.
• Authorize all point bulletins when high volume freight cannot be delivered or located by Investigative means.
• Assist terminals on issues involving collections, refusals, re-consignments, etc.
• Review Weekly Overage/Refusal reports from the terminals in your district to ensure proper investigations were done. Notify the Loss Prevention Department if Overage Reports are not received by each Tuesday.
• Assign OS&D control numbers, giving terminals authorization to send freight to salvage.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

• Proven customer service skills including excellent verbal, written and listening skills
• Must possess positive interpersonal skills and be customer oriented
• Must have proven analytical skills
• Knowledge of the LTL industry required
• Knowledge of AS/400 required
• Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling high-stress environment
• Must be able to effectively supervise and motivate employees in their day-to-day activities
• Must have High School diploma or equivalent; advanced education is welcomed
