Location: Corporate Office - Richmond, VA

Department: Operations Technology

• Manage the Estes centralized billing department while performing the duties of systems manager
• Supervise & manage all Operations Technology freight bill auditors by ensuring proper accuracy levels & training is current within the Estes centralized Billing Department
• Ensure that freight bill reconciliation is performed & resolve any billing issues that arise from the centralized billing department & other departments within Estes
• Compile reports on freight bill accuracy & supply reports to senior department management
• Hold vendor accountable to service level agreements
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), problem solving skills
• Must possess extensive knowledge of Estes freight billing system
• Must be detail oriented, able to multi task & work well with others to set & meet deadlines
• Advanced written & oral communication skills with excellent analytical & organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Self starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have managerial / supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field desired
• High School Diploma & equivalent experience in lieu of college degree
• Must be fluent in English language
• Prior transportation experience preferably in the LTL industry is preferred
• Prior experience in ground delivery systems (parcel), air freight, truckload is helpful & desired
• Four years prior full time work experience in operational capacity with analysis experience with heavy AS400 & Microsoft Excel is desired
• Must be able to handle heavy telephone & email volume
• Must be willing to observe operations in the field to gain better understanding of the Estes operations
• Minimum of four years full time work experience, preferably in LTL is desired
• THIS POSITION REQUIRES HOURS WORKED AT NIGHT
• REQUIRES TRAVEL
• MUST BE AVAILBLE & ON CALL DURING SCHEDULED TIME SLOTS IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THE ESTES CENTRAILIZED BILLING DEPARTMENT
